Hrdějovice

Hrdějovice (German: Hartowitz) is a municipality and village in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

[3] Hosín is located about 4 km (2 mi) north of České Budějovice.

There is a former china clay mine called Orty, protected as a nature monument.

From 1661 to abolition of serfdom in 1850, it belonged to the Hluboká estate owned by the Schwarzenberg family.

[4] Hrdějovice is located on the railway line heading from České Budějovice to Tábor and Chotoviny.
