[2] The township contains 18 cemeteries: Anderson, Beavers, Brandenburg, Coles County Poor Farm, Grant, Hurricane, Old Kelly, Liberty, McKenzie, Otterbein, Parker, Salisbury, Sargent, Stewart, Stringtown, Welch, Whetstone and Wiley Brick.

As of the 2020 census[1] there were 763 people, 319 households, and 216 families residing in the township.
