Ian Trezise

Ian Douglas Trezise (born 30 September 1959) is an Australian politician.

He was a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2014, representing the seat of Geelong.

[3] He was educated at Newcomb Primary and Geelong High School before completing a postgraduate diploma in personnel management.

Ian worked for the Australian Workers' Union for a number of years, before becoming shipping manager at the Port of Geelong.

[4] He served on the parliamentary Road Safety Committee from 1999 until November 2010, and was chairman from 2003 to 2006.
