Ibstock United F.C.

Ibstock Albion were formed in the 19th century and joined the Leicestershire Senior League in 1896, although they left after a single season.

At the end of the season they left to become founder members of the Central Midlands League, where they were placed in the Premier Division.

[4] In 1986 the club was reconstituted as Ibstock Welfare,[1] rejoining Division One of the Leicestershire Senior League.

[5] They won the Leicestershire and Rutland Senior Cup in 1993–94 with a 2–1 win over St Andrews.

[7] They won the Leicestershire and Rutland Senior Cup for a third time in 2011–12, defeating Ashby Ivanhoe in the final.

After finishing fourth in 2016–17, the club were promoted to the Premier Division, where they would meet Ellistown, who were relegated from the East Midlands Counties League at the end of the 2016–17 season, also dropping "Ibstock" from their name.
