The album achieved success in France, where it peaked at #5 for two weeks in January 1995.

It remained in the top 50 for twenty weeks and eventually earned a gold disc.

Allmusic stated, "Like many dance albums, this has too many tracks that sound alike, but Ice'n'Green is a lot of fun and consistently enjoyable.
