Ida B. Wells Continuation High School

Wells Continuation High School is a public high school in San Francisco, California, located on Alamo Square near the Hayes Valley neighborhood.

[3][4] The school was built in 1910 in classical style to a design by Newton Tharp.

Originally the Denman Grammar School,[5] it had its official dedication on September 10, 1911.

Students see a counselor every morning and have access to a resource center with a job board.

[8] A previous principal approached the instructor, Alice Cravens, to bring the program into the school.
