In April 2009, co-founder and rhythm guitarist Lindsey Armstrong (née Pierce) left the group in order to minister with her husband.
Brittney Mosher joined the band in early 2010, originally to fill in Lindsey's spot as guitarist.
Their sound continued to evolve on their follow up EP, Reborn, in 2014 with a new lead vocalist, Suzy Martinez, formerly of Our Divine Romance[3] that blended elements of hard rock, metal, and melodic pop music.
[6] The band attempted to crowdfund a 2016 EP on Indiegogo, eventually falling short, reaching $5,479 of their $12,000 goal.
On July 17, 2017 Suzy Martinez, the final vocalist for Ilia, released an original song titled "Underneath" under her new moniker, Zahna (singer).
