Ilia Stambler is an Israeli researcher and advocate[1] specializing in the historical and social implications of aging and longevity science.
His doctoral thesis examined the history of life-extensionism in the twentieth century,[3] culminating in a comprehensive study on the evolution of aging and longevity research.
[2][4] Stambler serves as the Chief Science Officer and Chairman of Vetek (Seniority) Association—the Movement for Longevity and Quality of Life in Israel.
[12] He holds positions such as executive committee member of the International Society on Aging and Disease,[13] trustee and director of Biogerontology Research Foundation (BGRF).
[26][27][28] He is the author and promoter of the section on “Enhancing research, development and education for healthy longevity and prevention of aging-related diseases” as a part of the Israel National Masterplan on Aging published by Knesset in 2019.
