Imre Pichler

Imre László Pichler (22 January 1947 – 20 October 2014)[1] was a Hungarian teacher and politician, member of the National Assembly (MP) for Szigetvár (Baranya County Constituency VII) from 2002 to 2006 and from 2010 to 2014.

(later renamed as Török Bálint) Vocational and Secondary Technical Institute of Szigetvár from 1976.

Parallel to his job he graduated from the Physical Education College of Budapest in 1983, after two years of studies.

He obtained qualification as a public education manager from Janus Pannonius University of Pécs in 2000.

He was a local individual representative from December 1994 to October 1998, and member of the sport committee.

On 21 June 2004, shortly after the European Parliament election, he joined the Lakitelek Working Group established at the time, led by Sándor Lezsák.
