Inter Aviation Services (Pty) Ltd, which traded as Interair South Africa, was a privately owned airline based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
It operated scheduled passenger services from Johannesburg to regional destinations in Africa.
[1] The airline was established, by Aeronautical Investments, as Inter Air Lines at Lanseria in 1979; it was renamed to Interair in 1993 and started operations in 1994.
Regional services were started in April 1995, and the airline ceased operations altogether in late August 2015, following the death of Executive Chairman David Tokoph on 18 August 2015.
