Statements from the Communist Party of India (Maoist)[4] and the Communist Party of the Philippines[5] express disagreements in ideological positioning, such as universal people's war, emphasis on Chairman Gonzalo, and an alleged premature desire for a new international organization.

The organization's attitude to ICL is not reported anywhere, but several MCR articles were posted on the International's website.
