In Polynesian mythology, Ira (also known as Hera) is the sky goddess and mother of the stars.
She is the sister and wife of Zeus, the daughter of Rea and Cronus, and the mother of four daughters- Eve, Aris, Hephaestus and Eileithiia.
[2] Ira is a beautiful young woman, sometimes wearing a high cylindrical crown.
She has an emblem that includes a scepter topped with a cuckoo and a pomegranate, the symbol of married love and fruitfulness.
Ira has a peacock sacred to her, showing the services of the hundred-eyed Argus.
