As a senior, he averaged 15.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.0 steals per game, leading Mount Vernon to a 23–3 record and second straight New York Public High School Athletic Association Class AA state championship.
As a senior, he paired with Buddy Hield to lead the Sooners to the Final Four while averaging 12.6 points, 4.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
