Isamu Ueda (上田 勇, Ueda Isamu, born 1958) is a Japanese politician of the New Komeito Party, who serves as a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature).
A native of Yokohama, Kanagawa and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he worked at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries from 1981 to 1993.
He was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1993.
