Islisberg is a municipality in the district of Bremgarten in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.
After 1415, Zurich exerted the rights to high justice over the Kelleramt, including Islisberg.
[4] Islisberg has an area, as of 2006[update], of 1.7 square kilometers (0.66 sq mi).
[5] The municipality is located in the Bremgarten district at the eastern edge of the canton.
Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (94.1%), with English being second most common ( 2.7%) and Dutch being third ( 0.7%).
[5] The age distribution, as of 2008[update], in Islisberg is; 65 children or 12.8% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 58 teenagers or 11.4% are between 10 and 19.
[10] About 57.1% of the total households were owner occupied, or in other words did not pay rent (though they may have a mortgage or a rent-to-own agreement).
