Ismaila

Ismaila' is a town and Union Council of Swabi District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

Ismaila is very famous village and is situated at the foot of Kara Mar Mountain which has historic significance.

The archaeological site Rani Gatt, part of the ancient Gandhara Kingdom, is also nearby.

Crops like wheat, maize and rice are grown here and the lands are irrigated by the Malakand Canal.

Pashto poet Ali Haider Joshi was born in this town in 1914.
