Israel "Bo" Curtis

Israel Benjamin "Bo" Curtis (September 11, 1932 – February 16, 2012) was an American politician.

[3] Curtis attended Peabody Magnet High School[1] and went on to Grambling State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.

[1] Curtis earned his master's degree at Northwestern State University.

[1] Curtis served as a member of the Rapides Parish School Board.

[1] After moving to Alexandria, Louisiana, he was a bodyguard for Baptist minister and activist Martin Luther King Jr, and the funeral director for the Winnfield Life Insurance Company.
