Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999

Israel was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with the song "Yom Huledet (Happy Birthday)", written by Moshe Datz, Gabriel Butlerm Ya'akov Lamai, and Jacky Oved, and performed by the group Eden.

In addition, IBA was also the host broadcaster and staged the event at the International Convention Centre in Jerusalem, after winning the previous edition with the song "Diva" by Dana International.

Israel was drawn to compete nineteenth in the contest, held on 29 May 1999.

At the end of the night, the nation placed 5th in the field of 23 entries, receiving 93 points.
