John Bernard Lloyd Howell CBE FRCP (1 August 1926 – 1 January 2015) was a British physician.
[2] From 1960 to 1969 he worked as senior lecturer and consultant physician at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
[2] In 1969 he was appointed foundation professor of medicine at the University of Southampton, becoming emeritus on his retirement in 1991.
[2] He was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 1991 Birthday Honours.
