Jack P. Hanlon

John Paul "Jack" Hanlon (6 May 1913 – 12 August 1968) was an Irish Roman Catholic priest and painter.

[1] He completed his clerical training at St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth and was ordained there in 1939.

His work was also part of the painting event in the art competition at the 1948 Summer Olympics.

[4] He served as curate in Churchtown, Dublin, until his death aged 55 on 12 August 1968.

In 2013, five watercolours by Hanlon, were stolen from Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Limerick.
