Jacobs was an unincorporated community in Poweshiek County, in the U.S. state of Iowa.
[2] Jacobs was located in Sections 11 and 12 of Washington Township, about five miles southeast of Grinnell.
The community was along the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railway,[3] which at that time was a major rail line in the American Midwest.
In addition to the rail station, Jacobs was the location of the Farmers' Cooperative Creamery and a butter factory.
