Jacques Julien Neirynck (born 17 August 1931) is a Belgian-Swiss writer, politician, and emeritus professor at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
[1] Neirynck was born in Uccle, Brussels, Belgium in 1931.
[citation needed] He studied electrical engineering at UCLouvain, eventually graduating with a PhD in 1958 and then becoming a professor.
