Jagdish Gandhi (born Jagdish Agrawal;[5] 10 November 1936 – 22 January 2024) was an Indian politician and educationist[6] who founded the City Montessori School[7][8] with his wife Bharti Gandhi.
[9][10][11][12] He served as an independent member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Sikandra Rao constituency from 1969 to 1974.
[13][6][14][15] Gandhi was born to Phool Chand Agarwal and Bansmati Devi on 10 November 1936, in Barsauli Village, Sikandra Rao, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lucknow University.
[15][3][6] Dr. Gandhi died from complications of a heart attack on 22 January 2024 in Medanta Hospital, Lucknow at the age of 87.
