James B. Currie

Currie joined the United States Army Air Corps in 1943.

Following the war, he was assigned to Orly Field and later to Évreux-Fauville Air Base in France.

In 1961, he was assigned to the 322d Air Division, where he flew the Lockheed C-130 Hercules during the Congo Crisis.

During the Vietnam War, he flew the Fairchild C-123 Provider with the 311th Air Commando Squadron.

Later he served in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
