James M. Harvey (born November 27, 1965) is a former American football linebacker who played two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL).
[1] After going undrafted in the 1987 NFL draft Harvey signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on May 6.
[3] On September 25, he was re-signed by the Chiefs during the 1987 NFL players strike.
[3] Harvey was re-signed on September 28 and played in one game for the Chiefs that season before being released for the final time on October 11, 1988.
[2] In 2015, he was named the head coach at his alma mater, Columbia High School.
