Janak Sapkota (Nepali: जनक सापकोटा; born 1987) is a Nepalese haiku poet[1][2][3] who works mainly in the English language.
Sapkota's books include Long Days of Rain (2016).
In 2006 he won the Smrufit Samhain International Haiku Award.
Born in Baglung, Nepal,[2][17] he currently resides in Finland.
Translations of his haiku are published in Finnish,[18][19][20] Irish/Gaelic,[21][8][22] Swedish,[23] German,[11] Romanian[24] and Hindi.
