Jane Hurlstone (née Coral; c. 1817 – 2 October 1858) was a Scottish artist and activist.
She exhibited at the Royal Academy and Society of British Artists, advocated for animal welfare and vegetarianism, and supported Owenism and Italian nationalism.
[3] Hurlstone was an advocate for animal welfare[2] and has been identified as a potential founding member of the RSPCA.
[5][6] She also played a significant role in influencing several London-based vegetarianism organisations.
