Javier Cienfuegos Pinilla (born 15 July 1990 in Montijo-Badajoz) is a Spanish hammer thrower and the junior world record holder.
On 5 May 2012, he became the Spanish record holder with the senior weight hammer, which weighs 7,26 kg (16 lbs), after making a throw of 76,21 meters.
He won the ninth annual European Cup Winter Throwing Championship (u23 group B) with a 73,18 m performance (hammer weight = 7,26 kg).
[6] Cienfuegos also attended the 2009 World Championships in Athletics and finished 13th in his qualifying group with a 72,01 performance (7,26 kg hammer).
[7] Cienfuegos ran 3rd in the People's Party (PP) list for Badajoz vis-à-vis the 2019 Extremaduran regional election,[8][9] becoming a member of the 10th Assembly of Extremadura.
