Jeanne Ellen Scott[1] (August 17, 1948 — October 19, 2019) was a former United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bradley University in 1970 and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law in 1973.
Scott was nominated by President Bill Clinton on April 2, 1998, to a seat vacated by Judge Richard Henry Mills.
After her resignation, she was an attorney in private practice in Springfield.
