Jefferson Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania

The village of Mount Cobb is in the southern part of the township.

As of the census[4] of 2010, there were 3,731 people, 1,460 households, and 1,101 families residing in the township.

The population density was 111.4 people per square mile.

There were 1,460 households, out of which 27.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64% were married couples living together, 7.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.6% were non-families.

19.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
