Jennifer M. Wilby (born 1953) is an American and UK management scientist, past director of the Centre for Systems Studies, and a senior lecturer and researcher in management systems and sciences at The Business School, University of Hull.
In 1978 Wilby started working in urban planning, followed by database programming and textbook publishing.
From 2007 to 2009, she also held a part-time EPSRC post-doctoral fellowship researching the EmergeNet Emerging Sustainability Project.
[1] Wilby is currently vice president for administration for the International Society for the Systems Sciences (ISSS), and past work has included honorary treasurer and executive board member of ARCISS (The Association of Research Centres in the Social Sciences), and a member of the board of the UKSS (United Kingdom Systems Society).
In the year July 2010 to 2011, she served as president of the International Society for the Systems Sciences (ISSS) and hosted the ISSS conference in 2011 at the University of Hull, Hull, UK,[2] and is currently president of the United Kingdom Systems Society (UKSS).
