Jens Edvin Andreassen Skoghøy (born February 16, 1955) is a Norwegian lawyer, former Supreme Court justice, and professor of law.
In the fall of 2022, after experiencing deteriorating health, Skoghøy was hospitalized and took leaves of absence from the Court.
[1][6][7] In April, 2023, Skoghøy announced his resignation from the Supreme Court, effective July 1, 2023.
The Supreme Court agreed to pay him a lump sum of 3.6 million NOK.
[11][12][13] Skoghøy has written a number of articles and books on, among other things, dispute resolution, lien law, and civil procedure.
