Jeremy Griffiths

Jeremy Richard Griffiths (born March 22, 1978) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Mets and Houston Astros.

Toledo qualified for the MAC Tournament that year and Griffiths was later chosen by the New York Mets in the third round of the 1999 Major League Baseball Draft.

In nine games (and six starts) with the Mets in 2003, Griffiths struggled to an earned run average (ERA) over 7.00.

In the summer of 2004, Griffiths and David Weathers were traded to the Houston Astros in exchange for Richard Hidalgo.
