Jerry Vandergriff (born c. 1942) is an American former college football player and coach.
"[1] Vandergriff was the quarterback of the 1960 San Angelo team that finished with a 7–3 record and played in the 1960 Hospitality Bowl in Gulfport, Mississippi.
[2] After receiving his degree, Vandergriff coached high school football for seven years.
In 23 years as head coach, he compiled a record of 143–100–2 (95–62–2 in Lone Star Conference play) and had 18 winning seasons.
[1][2] He led Angelo State to four NCAA Division II postseason appearances and was named the Lone Star Conference Coach of the Year in 1984, 1987 and 1997.
