Jerry White (historian)

Jerry White is a British historian who has specialised in the history of London.

Jerry White embarked upon a career in local government after leaving grammar school in Dorset in 1967.

[1] His discovery in November 1971 of the Rothschild Buildings in Flower and Dean Street, Spitalfields led him to write an oral history of it.

As a consequence of this, he met Raphael Samuel who provided him with academic training as an historian.
