Jerry White is a British historian who has specialised in the history of London.
Jerry White embarked upon a career in local government after leaving grammar school in Dorset in 1967.
[1] His discovery in November 1971 of the Rothschild Buildings in Flower and Dean Street, Spitalfields led him to write an oral history of it.
As a consequence of this, he met Raphael Samuel who provided him with academic training as an historian.
