Jim Edwards (political activist)

James Henry Edwards (19 February 1892 – 29 March 1952) was a New Zealand socialist, communist, political activist and salesman.

He was born in London, England on 19 February 1892.

[1] He unsuccessfully contested the Auckland Central electorate in the 1931 election for the Communist Party of New Zealand (CPNZ); of the three candidates, he came last.

[1][2] At the 1935 local-body elections he was one of three CPNZ candidates for the Auckland City Council.
