Jobberman Nigeria was founded in August 2009 by Olalekan Olude, Ayodeji Adewunmi and Opeyemi Awoyemi[1][2] in their dormitory in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife[3] to help connect people looking for jobs with companies hiring.

In 2014, the BBC [8] described Jobberman Nigeria as the single largest job placement website in sub-Saharan Africa.

8 in Forbes Magazine Top 20 Tech Startups in Africa, and it was included in the McKinsey Internet report on aspiring countries as an innovative company.
