Joseph Frank Babich ONZM (10 October 1940 – 13 January 2022) was a New Zealand winemaker.

[4] Babich founded the Young Winemakers' Group, and was in the vanguard of those who worked to modernise production and raise standards in the New Zealand wine industry in the 1970s.

[4] In the 2015 New Year Honours, Babich was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to the wine industry.

[8] Later in 2015, both he and his brother, Peter, were inducted into the New Zealand Wine Hall of Fame.

[9] Outside of the wine business, Babich was involved in the establishment of the Henderson High School Foundation, and provided assistance to the Waitemata Rugby Club.
