Joseph Renfroe (August 14, 1921 – December 9, 1987) was an American football player and coach.
He was selected by the Associated Press as the first-team quarterback on the 1943 All-SEC football team.
[1] He suffered a career-ending shoulder injury playing against the Green Bay Packers in the Chicago College All-Star Game on August 30, 1945.
He served as head football coach at Hinds Junior College in Utica, Mississippi, from 1953 to 1969, compiling a record of 132-76-5.
[3] He led Hinds to a victory in the 1954 Junior Rose Bowl.
