John Macco

John Joseph Macco (born September 23, 1958) is an American businessman and Republican politician from Brown County, Wisconsin.

[4][5] On November 4, 2014, Macco was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly, defeating Democratic challenger Dan Robinson.

[9] However, in November 2021, Macco indicated that he would not seek the Republican nomination, and that he would endorse Rebecca Kleefisch, who served as lieutenant governor from 2011 to 2019.

[10] In October 2023, Macco attend a rally for the anti-LGBT organization, Gays Against Groomers, which had about a dozen attendees and garnered attention for its hateful signage which falsely accused trans people and LGBT activists of "coordinated child abuse".

Two other Republican Wisconsin state legislators, Reps. Joy Goeben and Nate Gustafson also attended the rally.
