John Reeves FRS FLS (1 May 1774 – 22 March 1856) was an English naturalist.
Orphaned young, he was educated at Christ's Hospital and started working with a tea merchant.
He was responsible for the introduction of a number of garden plants to the West including Wisteria.
Reeves also took an interest in Chinese astronomy and herbal medicine, collaborating on these with the missionary and sinologist Robert Morrison.
[3] Many of Reeves' Chinese drawings are held in the Lindley Library at the Royal Horticultural Society.
