He is Chief of the Kpasenkpe traditional area (Wulugu, Nameyela, Sariba, Nabari, Duu, Arigu, Dibsi Arba, etc.)

His contender was Daasebre Professor Oti Boateng, paramount chief of the New-Juaben Traditional Area, who had 13 votes.
