José Luis Zumeta Etxeberria (Guipúzcoa, 19 April 1939 – San Sebastián, ca.
22 April 2020)[1][2] was a Basque Spanish painter working in an abstract style.
In 1966 he participated in the founding of the one belonging to the so-called Basque School, together with Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida and Nestor Basterretxea.
In 2002, he exhibited his work at Haim Chanin Fine Arts in New York.
