Joseph J. Hart

Joseph Johnson Hart (April 18, 1859 – July 13, 1926) was a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.

He attended the schools of Nyack and was graduated from the Charlier Institute in New York City, in 1876.

He conducted and owned City and Country, a Democratic newspaper of Nyack, until 1883, when he moved to Pike County, Pennsylvania, where he engaged in the real estate, lumber, and insurance businesses.

In 1900 moved to New York City and engaged in clerical work.
