[2] Trujillo, known as Juan Galeana in Mexico, first played for his hometown club Cocodrilos Lázaro Cárdenas in the Liga TDP, then the third tier of Mexican football.
He made his first appearance in the third-place playoff of the 2021 Copa Paulino Alcantara.
