Julia Drake Fosdick Dean

Julia Drake Fosdick Dean (1800 – November 1832)[1] was an early American stage actor.

After Alexina's death in 1814, the Drake family formed an itinerant theater company, travelling by wagon and raft through the frontier areas between towns and cities along the Mississippi, Ohio, and Allegheny rivers.

[1][2][3] Drake retired from the stage after she married Cincinnati merchant and banker Thomas Fosdick.

After Thomas Fosdick's death in 1829, she returned to the stage and later married actor Edwin Dean.

[1][2] Julia Drake Fosdick Dean died in November 1832 in Dutchess County, New York.
