Juno Award for International Album of the Year

The Juno Award for International Album of the Year was an annual award given to a non-Canadian album.

Thus, the rules had changed slightly over the years.

Recently, the nominees were based on sales (i.e. the five best-selling non-Canadian albums of the year), and therefore do not necessarily represent the year's "best" international albums.

However, the ultimate winner of the award was determined by vote of the CARAS board of directors.

[1] It is one of several categories that media reports in September 2024 indicated would be placed on "hiatus" for the Juno Awards of 2025;[2] of the four, it was the only one for which the Juno Award committee did not explicitly announce a reversal of the decision on September 17.

Mumford & Sons won the award in 2013 for their album, Babel .
