Weekdays begin with The Glenn Beck Radio Program followed by an hour of local talk with Dave Stroh.

Weekends feature Tom Gresham's Gun Talk, Rudy Maxa's World Travel, At Home with Gary Sullivan and The Jesus Christ Show with Neil Saavedra.

KBYR originally broadcast at 1240 kilocycles and was only powered at 250 watts, a fraction of its current output.

[4] It had a full service format, playing middle of the road music, news and sports.

In addition to the main station, KBYR is relayed by two FM translators to widen its broadcast area.
