Kaohsiung Music Center

The Kaohsiung Music Center (KMC; Chinese: 高雄流行音樂中心; pinyin: Gāoxióng Liúxíng Yīnyuè Zhōngxīn) is a music hall in Yancheng District and Lingya District in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The Council for Cultural Affairs then commissioned Kaohsiung City Government to plan, design, and construct the center.

[1] The center was officially opened on 31 October 2021 in a ceremony attended by President Tsai Ing-wen and Culture Minister Lee Yung-te.

[2][3] The center was designed by Spanish architecture firm MADE IN Architects (Group of architects set up for this specific project, and formed in the first phase by Manuel Monteserín, Beatriz Pachón, and Javier Simó).

[4][5] The center consists of the Wave Tower, Coral Zone, Whale Bridge, Dolphin Walk, and Live Warehouse, which span over an area of 11 hectares (27 acres).
