Katerynivka, Donetsk Oblast

Katerynivka (Ukrainian: Катеринівка) is a village in Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.

[2] During the Holodomor, the village was blacklisted by the government of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which blockaded Kateryniv, causing mass starvation.

[5] The village has a primarily agricultural economy, centred on the cultivation of grain and the rearing of cattle.
